Those who give have the most to gain! A generous person will attract people around themselves who are like them. That is to say, birds of a feather flock together, so do pigs and swine.

There is something beautiful about the nature of a generous person and the sweet spirit they carry.

Hi! How important is generosity to you in sales? If you don’t think it’s important, stay tuned. I’m going to show you how it is.

Hi, it’s Grant here. We’re going to talk about contribution today when it comes to sales, and how that relates and how it’s important. In fact, how it gets you more sales. How it will get you across the line, and the first thing you need to know is that giving shows authority. If you can give and give and give, it shows that you’ve got more and more and more to give and give and give. And I learned this in coaching with one really great question that I learned to ask in sales. After I have solved our client’s problem, I would always ask what else can I do. Or the question was: and what else?

What it deed is it shows you an absolute abundance from me to them. So it showed that I had more and more to give. So perhaps it’s something you could begin to practice as well. After you’ve run across the finish line, get used to asking your client or prospect what else it is that you can do for them today. It’s going to help them to get even further in their life.

The second thing I want you to remember is that giving promotes growth. The more you have to give, the more you’ll going to want to grow as well because the more you give out of a good space, the more you’ll going to want to fill yourself up as well. So giving promotes self-growth and personal growth. So being a giver helps you to grow and helps you to want to have more to be able to grow.

The third thing is, as a guy called Ivan Misner and he wrote a book called “The 23% Solution”. And what I want you to think about is how your giving allows people to feel that they—it’s not quite owe you something but they feel like there’s a sense of reciprocity. That through you giving something freely, they may feel like next time you ask them to purchase something, they’re going to want to purchase it from you. And in Dr. Robert Cialdini’s book called “Influence” and his name’s just here on the screen. Go ahead and get that book. He talks about the Law of Reciprocity and Ivan Misner does in his book called The 23% Solution as well. In fact, it is a really well noted concept whereby if you give, then you have more to gain. So let me encourage you today, be generous with your time, be generous with your information, give away your information, and you’ll be paid for your implementation.
